Greg Daniels, the screenwriter who adapted The Office<\/a> for US television, is working on a new iteration alongside Nathan For You co-creator Michael Koman.<\/span><\/p>\n The show hasn\u2019t officially been greenlit, but if it does go ahead it will reportedly star Domhnall Gleeson<\/a>\u00a0and Sabrina Impacciatore, according to The Hollywood Reporter<\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Gleeson is best known for playing Bill Weasley in the Harry Potter films and starring as General Armitage Hux in the Star Wars sequel trilogy.<\/span><\/p>\n Impacciatore, meanwhile, played resort manager Valentina in The White Lotus season 2<\/a>, for which she was nominated for an Emmy. She has also appeared in a number of Italian-language films and TV series including <\/span>Disokkupati<\/span>, <\/span>7 Women and a Murder<\/span>, <\/span>There\u2019s No Place Like Home<\/span>\u00a0and <\/span>The Last Kiss.<\/span><\/p>\n Deadline<\/span><\/a> previously reported that the new series is not a reboot, but would focus on new characters working in a new office that is likely set in the same universe as the original show.<\/span><\/p>\n The previous US adaptation ran for nine seasons between 2005 and 2013, boasting an ensemble initially led by Steve Carell<\/a> as the boss of Dundler Mifflin\u2019s Scranton branch, Michael Scott. <\/span>It also featured John Krasinski, Jenna Fischer and Rainn Wilson, among others.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Read more:<\/strong><\/p>\n Daniels previously hinted at a reboot of the series, telling <\/span>Collider<\/span><\/a> back in 2022: \u201cI can\u2019t tell whether fans would want more of it, and when I say more of it, I don\u2019t think it would be the same characters.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI think it would just be sort of like an extension of the universe\u2026 I don\u2019t know if that would be something people would want or not, it\u2019s hard to tell.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n All seasons of The Office US are available to watch on Netflix. <\/b>Sign up for Netflix from \u00a34.99 a month<\/b><\/a>.
