With Humphrey Goodman (Kris Marshall) and Martha Lloyd\u2019s (Sally Breton) wedding fast-<\/span>approaching, <\/span>the duo were given a joint stag and hen do by their friends and colleagues, during which a<\/span> little decorative lizard could be seen attached to the wall.<\/span><\/p>\n That is, of course, a nod to Death in Paradise\u2019s Harry the Lizard<\/a>, <\/span>who lives at the detective inspector\u2019s bungalow on the island of Saint Marie<\/span>\u00a0and has regularly appeared on the show since the pilot.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cAt least <\/span>#beyondparadise<\/span> make sure <\/span>@DIPHarryLizard <\/span>gets a look in!!!\u201d one fan wrote<\/a> on X (formerly Twitter).<\/p>\n Another said<\/a>: \u201cYou really have to love the fans of <\/span>#beyondparadise<\/span> and <\/span>#deathinparadise.<\/span>\u00a0Harry is so beloved as a CGI character that we go gaga over a model cameo of him in a pub.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n Earlier this year, Death in Paradise viewers were thrilled by Harry the Lizard\u2019s return to our screens following a long absence.<\/span><\/p>\n Harry returned in the third episode of season 13 as DI Neville Parker (Ralf Little) asked the reptile his opinion on his online dating matches.<\/span><\/p> Speaking to RadioTimes.com<\/a> ahead of Death in Paradise\u2019s 100th episode<\/a>, which launched its 13th season, <\/span>executive producer Tim Key said of the show\u2019s little green companion: <\/span>\u201cPeople are very disappointed when they find out Harry is CGI.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cHe\u2019s the longest living lizard! Maybe someone should make a documentary about him.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cAnd I\u2019m still very proud of that CGI, if it is still fooling people. The team that worked on him at one stage, I think, had also done the Godzilla movie.
