When British doctor Matthew Nolan (Richard Armitage) is accused of manslaughter by the Chinese authorities in ITV\u2019s Red Eye<\/a>, DC Hana Nolan (Jing Lusi) accompanies him on the return flight from London to Beijing to face justice.<\/p>\n

But Nolan is adamant that there was no one in the car when he crashed, which raises the question: what\u2019s really<\/em> going on?<\/p>\n

\u201cRed Eye is a brilliantly addictive thriller,\u201d said ITV\u2019s head of drama Polly Hill. \u201cThanks to Peter A Dowling\u2019s scripts, the story will have the audience gripped and continually surprised throughout.\u201d<\/p>\n

Armitage, Lusi and co pitched up in a number of different locations during filming, which you can read all about below.<\/p>\n

Filming was stripped across multiple locations, one being the plane, which you might be surprised to hear wasn\u2019t a set.<\/p>\n

\u201cBefore we started filming, we weren\u2019t too sure how the space was going to work because it wasn\u2019t a purpose-built set where you can remove the walls for cameras, it was a real plane,\u201d explained Lusi. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cEvery time we filmed a scene, someone would have to close the doors manually, so it didn\u2019t look like there was a door open on the side of the plane in mid-air. Thanks to the director, cinematographer and the phenomenal crew, they made true magic out of that small space.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
