This behemoth of a challenge doesn\u2019t need to be as tough as it sounds. <\/p>

The wastelands of Fallout 4 are overwhelmed with vicious enemies to fight, ranging from Radscorpions to Deathclaws, but none are as terrifying or powerful as Super Mutant Behemoths.<\/p>\n

These enormous creatures make standard Super Mutants look as cuddly as Barney the Dinosaur, towering over anyone in their presence and sometimes growing up to 20 feet tall.<\/p>\n

To make matters worse, they march about carrying fire hydrants that they use like cricket bats, capable of dealing monumental damage to anyone in their way. Failing that, they\u2019ll likely just chuck a big boulder in your direction. One variant isn\u2019t enough though, as multiple different versions can be spotted roaming around, including the radiation soaked Glowing Behemoth.<\/p>\n

Fallout 4 Behemoth locations<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Behemoths can be found in multiple locations in Fallout 4, and some will not appear unless your character has ranked up to a certain level. Below are a list of places in which the beasts can be found.<\/p>\n

Scripted appearances<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Some Behemoths feature in missions or as part of the narrative:<\/p>\n

  • Peninsula near Fort Mercy<\/strong> \u2013 part of the Show No Mercy mission<\/li>\n
  • Near the CIT Ruins<\/strong> \u2013 part of the Ad Victoriam mission<\/li>\n
  • The Castle<\/strong> \u2013 sometimes appear in the Defend the Castle mission<\/li>\n
  • Around the remains of The Institute<\/strong> once the game has been completed with the Brotherhood of Steel ending<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
