From the producers behind reality TV classic Married at First Sight Australia<\/a> comes Love Triangle<\/a>, a brand new experiment that turns dating as you know it on its head.<\/p>\n

The series follows six singles who take on a \u201cradical\u201d new approach to dating, and Channel 4\u2019s commissioning editor is certain audiences will be \u201cgripped\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cLove Triangle puts this modern dating dilemma front and centre, with a trademark E4 twist,\u201d said Lee McMurray. \u201cI\u2019m confident British audiences will be gripped by this radical rejection of our current looks-based, swipe right dating culture, as they share the joy, love, heartache and off-the-scale drama of the six brae singles taking part in tis unique, distinctive quest for love.\u201d<\/p>\n

So, just how does Love Triangle work and when can viewers tune in? Read on for everything you need to know.<\/p>\n

What is Love Triangle?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Based on an Australian format, Love Triangle follows a group of singles as they spend two days getting to know two matches, all via text. But there\u2019s a catch, they won\u2019t know who it is they\u2019ve been speaking to until they decide which person they\u2019d like to go on a blind date with.<\/p>\n

After their blind date, the \u201cpicker\u201d and their match will move in together and test how their future could like look together. But again, there\u2019s a catch!<\/p>\n

As the couples begin settling, the people who were previously rejected will return and the \u201cpickers\u201d will meet them on a second blind date and the drama doesn\u2019t stop there.<\/p>\n

While on their second blind date, their new romantic interest will reveal they are also moving into the house to form, you guessed it, a love triangle!<\/p>\n

Throughout the experiment, the singles will be faced with plot twists and will question \u201ceverything they think they know about love\u201d.<\/p>\n

By the end, each single must choose which of their two matches they wish to continue dating.<\/p>

Love Triangle release date<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Love Triangle kicks off on Tuesday 23rd April at 9pm on E4<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The first episode will be followed by two more on Wednesday and Thursday, and this will continue the following week.<\/p>\n

Who is in the Love Triangle cast?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The six cast members taking part in Love Triangle were revealed earlier this month, with each of them having their own aims for finding love.<\/p>\n

  • Jasmine<\/strong> \u2013 a 22-year-old teaching assistant from Wiltshire<\/li>\n
  • Mike<\/strong> \u2013 a 40-year-old ex-professional basketball player from Canada, living in Sheffield<\/li>\n
  • Lloyd<\/strong> \u2013 a 30-year-old DJ from London, living in Manchester<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
