Another week, another Pok\u00e9mon Go<\/a> raid \u2013 this time, it\u2019s Mega Aggron.<\/p>\n

We\u2019ve got everything you need to know about their weaknesses, when they\u2019re available and the best counters to use.<\/p>\n

You\u2019ll need to act quick if you want to catch one, though, as they won\u2019t be part of the Mega Raid roster for too long.<\/p>\n

If Mega Aggron proves a little too difficult for you, you can always head out to the beach and catch a Wiglett<\/a> instead.<\/p>\n

There\u2019s also loads to be getting busy with as part of the Pok\u00e9mon Go Sustainability Week<\/a> and Rediscover Kanto<\/a> events, so there\u2019s plenty to distract yourself with if Mega Aggron is mega elusive.<\/p>\n

When is Aggron in Pok\u00e9mon Go raid battles?<\/b><\/h2>\n

Mega Aggron will be available to battle in Pok\u00e9mon Go raids between 25th April 2024 and 2nd May 2024<\/b>.<\/p>\n

There is a chance, too, that you will come across a shiny variant of Mega Aggron, though they will be suitably rare.<\/p>\n

Be prepared to put up quite the fight, though, as Mega Aggron means business \u2013 and they\u2019ll get the better of you if you don\u2019t plan ahead.<\/p>\n

What are Aggron\u2019s weaknesses in Pok\u00e9mon Go?<\/b><\/h2>\n

Being a Steel-type Pok\u00e9mon, Mega Aggron\u2019s weaknesses are Fire, Fighting and Ground-based Pok\u00e9mon<\/b>.<\/p>\n

Any other type of Pok\u00e9mon will be useless, as Mega Aggron has extremely high Damage Resistance to all other forms of attacks.<\/p>\n

Mega Aggron also receives a boost when in snowy or cloudy weather, so they are even more dangerous there. The flip side to this is that if you do manage to catch them, they will also have a higher rating.<\/p>\n
