Holly Smale\u2019s best-selling coming-of-age Geek Girl<\/a> books have been adapted into a brand new Netflix<\/a> series, and now we\u2019ve got our first look at what to expect in an exciting trailer.<\/p>\n

The trailer introduces viewers to House of the Dragon<\/a> star Emily Carey\u2019s Harriet Manners, a geeky 16-year-old who is unexpectedly scouted by a modelling agency while on a school trip.<\/p>\n

She is offered \u201cthe biggest opportunity\u201d of her life, although she immediately rebuts that she\u2019s sure there have been bigger opportunities before.<\/p>\n

Initially reluctant, Harriet starts to come around to her new lifestyle when she meets young supermodel Nick Park, played by Liam Woodrum.<\/p>\n

With stifling media attention following, Harriet narrates that, \u201cThis is a story for anyone who\u2019s ever wanted to fit in,\u201d before adding, \u201cSometimes, to change your life, you have to stand out.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
