The full list of Fallout 4<\/a> settlements offers over 30 different areas for the sole survivor (you) to set up shop and develop the land in whatever way you like.<\/p>\n

Each settlement can be built and managed to craft bases that support you in a variety of different ways.<\/p>\n

Use settlements to gather important items such as food and water, earn more XP, farm, and act as a base where you can sleep, interact with NPCs and even shop.<\/p>\n

Getting the most out of settlements can be overwhelming if you\u2019re new to the game after becoming a fan of the Fallout TV show<\/a>. Fortunately for you, we\u2019re here to help.<\/p>\n

How many settlements are in Fallout 4?<\/b><\/h2>\n

In the base game, there are 30 settlements in Fallout 4<\/b>. If you own all of the DLC expansions, there are 37 unlockable settlements<\/b>.<\/p>\n

The majority of the settlement locations can be unlocked by completing a set objective or by killing enemies or residents in the area. You will need to open the workshop to begin your new life at the settlement of your choosing.<\/p>\n

Technically, it seems as though you can run every settlement if you wish. If you can cope with setting them all up and keeping up with any admin attached, that\u2019s up to you.<\/p>\n

Setting up and running two or three settlements will be fine for most players.<\/p>
