The good news is that, after months of speculation and rumours, it is official: we are getting a brand new episode<\/a> as soon as this Christmas.<\/p>\n But the bad news is that it\u2019s set to be the final ever episode of the hit comedy series.<\/p>\n Announcing the exciting news on his Instagram<\/a>, James Corden shared a picture of himself and co-writer Ruth Jones<\/a> with a script for \u201cGavin & Stacey: The finale\u201d in front of them.<\/p>\n He wrote: \u201cSome news\u2026 It\u2019s official!!! We have finished writing the last ever episode of Gavin and Stacey. See you on Christmas Day, BBC One.
