A new Fortnite<\/a> update is arriving today (Friday 3rd May 2024), bringing a whole load of new Star Wars<\/a> content into the game.<\/p>\n

You may have already noticed that Fortnite is down<\/a> this morning, with planned server downtime allowing the developers to patch in the new content.<\/p>\n

So, when will Fortnite come back online and what does today\u2019s Fortnite update change about the game?<\/p>\n

What time does today\u2019s Fortnite update arrive?<\/strong><\/h2>\n
According to the official Epic Games website, today\u2019s Fortnite downtime is planned to end at 1pm BST\u00a0<\/strong>for players here in the UK.<\/p>\n
However, according to an official Fortnite blog post, much of the new in-game content will not go live until\u00a02pm BST<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
It might be best to plan for the later option, just in case the downtime takes a little bit longer than planned to end.<\/p>
What changes in today\u2019s Fortnite update?<\/strong><\/h2>\n
The Fortnite update today (3rd May) is all about bringing\u00a0Star Wars content into Battle Royale, LEGO Fortnite, Fortnite Festival, Rocket Racing and the Item Shop.<\/strong><\/p>\n
