The legendary actor has spoken out about CBS\u2019s decision to cancel the cop drama, in which he has been playing NYPD commissioner Frank Reagan since 2010.<\/p>\n
Asked by CBS News<\/a> whether the long-standing series was actually ending, Selleck said: \u201cWell, that\u2019s a good question. I will continue to think that CBS will come to their senses.\u201d<\/p>\n He added: \u201cWe\u2019re the third-highest scripted show in all of broadcast. We\u2019re winning the night. All the cast wants to come back. And I can tell you this: we aren\u2019t sliding off down a cliff. We\u2019re doing good shows, and still holding our place.<\/p>\n \u201cSo, I don\u2019t know.
