It\u2019s been less than a year since Top Boy<\/a> aired its final season, but fans have already been clamouring for some kind of spin-off \u2013 and it looks like they could be in luck.<\/p>\n A few months after series creator Ronan Bennett suggested<\/a> that he had hatched plans for a new series focused on Jaq Lawrence, star Jasmine Jobson has revealed that she\u2019d be very open to the possibility of reprising her role.<\/p>\n Speaking to RadioTimes.com<\/a> and other press at the BAFTA Television Awards<\/a> with P&O Cruises after winning the prize for Best Supporting Actress, Jobson suggested that while she\u2019d heard nothing at this stage, it wouldn\u2019t be a hard decision to make if a call did come.<\/p>\n \u201cWell, I don\u2019t know about that,\u201d she said when asked about the possibility. \u201cNetflix haven\u2019t come to me\u2026 all I will say is that if Netflix are on it, I\u2019m definitely down.\u201d<\/p> She added: \u201cSo, yeah\u2026 I mean, I was struggling to let go of Jaq, so if they want to bring it back, let\u2019s do it \u2013 but it\u2019s out of my hands.\u201d<\/p>\n Her comments came after Bennett told BBC Radio 5 Live that he was \u201ctalking to Netflix\u201d about the possibility back in January, although he did not expand much on the subject, saying that: \u201cI\u2019ve learned through bitter experience not to talk too much about shows that are in the future.\u201d<\/p>\n However, he did add that he had \u201chopes that this will work\u201d \u2013 and so, with Jobson now publicly showing her interest, let\u2019s hope that it does get across the line.<\/p>\n Read more:<\/strong><\/p>\n
