Jess Brownell remained tight-lipped about which Bridgerton sibling will be the focus. <\/p>

Dearest reader, you won\u2019t have to say goodbye to the Bridgerton<\/a> siblings anytime soon, as showrunner Jess Brownell has confirmed plans for the future of the hit Netflix<\/a> period drama.<\/p>\n

When Bridgerton burst onto our screens in 2020, no one was quite prepared for the phenomenon that would follow, nor the obsession over eight fictional siblings as they were brought to life.<\/p>\n

So far, two full seasons have been released on the streamer, with the first following Daphne\u2019s Bridgerton\u2019s love story and the second following Anthony\u2019s.<\/p>\n

When season 3 was announced, it was confirmed it would no longer be following the book sequence, with Colin and Penelope\u2019s tale taking precedence, in what would have been Benedict\u2019s season.<\/p>\n

As of Thursday 16th May, the first four episodes of season 3 have been released, and while everyone is craving the second part, even more are wanting to know about season 4 and which Bridgerton sibling will be next.<\/p>\n

Could it be Eloise or Benedict? Well, Brownell has teased the series could very well continue in a different order to the novels.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s possible that we will continue to go out of order,\u201d she told The Hollywood Reporter<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m really excited about Benedict\u2019s journey in season 3. It felt like it was too early to have him settled down. He\u2019s such a passionate character, and we wanted him to go on a few more adventures before we get to his season.\u201d<\/p>\n

What is known is that Bridgerton will be returning for season 4, with Netflix renewing the drama<\/a> for seasons 3 and 4 back in 2021.<\/p>\n

As for Brownell\u2019s plans in season 4 and beyond, she explained she does have \u201ca map\u201d of where she\u2019d like things to go \u201cover the next few seasons\u201d.<\/p>

She added: \u201c[It] is important for us to be aware of [that] so that we don\u2019t burn through too much story and so that we can adequately beat out characters journeys.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhere we\u2019re going I can\u2019t say exactly yet, but we are in the middle of season 4, and I am so thrilled to eventually be able to share what we\u2019re working on.\u201d<\/p>\n

Fans will have to be patient before details of season 4 are revealed, and even more so as they wait for the second part of season 3 to drop, so they can see how Polin\u2019s love story continues.<\/p>\n
