McClure plays a woman suffering from insomnia in the new Paramount Plus show. <\/p>
This Is England and Line of Duty<\/a> star Vicky McClure will soon be seen leading Paramount Plus<\/a> thriller series Insomnia<\/a>, and RadioTimes.com<\/a> has got an exclusive, chilling first look at what to expect.<\/p>\n In the new clip, McClure\u2019s character Emma Averill is seen making her way downstairs at 1:13am, after hearing a banging noise.<\/p>\n Once she gets downstairs, she finds her mother, played by Corinna Marlowe, eerily and aggressively rattling the door handle, trying to get outside.<\/p>\n As she approaches, her mother, Patricia, turns around, and it\u2019s at that point that Emma properly wakes up. It turns out she\u2019s been sleepwalking, and it\u2019s not her mother rattling the door handle, but it is in fact her.<\/p>\n You can watch the full, ominous clip right here now.<\/p>\n
