South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone are never far behind the zeitgeist and now they\u2019re wading into another hot topic with their latest special, The End of Obesity.<\/p>\n

The extended episode will tackle the debate around weight loss medication, with plus-sized character Eric Cartman (Parker) advised by his doctor to take \u201cdrastic measures\u201d to become slimmer (as seen in the teaser trailer).<\/p>\n

He goes on to mention Ozempic by name, a drug officially intended for use by people with type 2 diabetes, which has been highly publicised in recent months for its supposed ability to help with weight loss.<\/p>\n

With so many headlines regarding the medication, it was only a matter of time until it became the target of South Park\u2019s satirical eye \u2013 here\u2019s when you can expect Parker and Stone\u2019s unique commentary in The End of Obesity.<\/p>\n
