As one of the most popular anime series in recent years, even anime newbies will have heard of the Black Clover gang.<\/span><\/p>\n

Kicking off its magical action back in 2017, the initial run of Black Clover (filler)<\/a> episodes was brought to an end in 2021. Based on the manga series by Y\u016bki Tabata, fans now have an impressive back catalogue to enjoy despite the seeming end of the franchise, with the Sword of the Wizard King <\/span>film<\/span><\/a> finally making its way to screens this year.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Set in a world where everyone is given a magical ability, the story follows Asta, who seems to have been born without any powers. After he\u2019s given a rare grimoire that allows him to have anti-magic abilities, Asta sets off with his fellow mages to try and become the next Wizard King.<\/span><\/p>\n

Even though the Black Clover series feels like it\u2019s come to an end, talks of a possible fifth season continue, especially as the ongoing manga has enough material to continue the story<\/span>. <\/span><\/p>\n

Will there be a season 5 of Black Clover?<\/b><\/h2>\n

Currently, there are no confirmed plans for a fifth season of Black Clover.\u00a0<\/span>However, the success of the film, Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King<\/a> and the continued fan support the series receives, there is hope that a series announcement could happen sooner rather than later.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

According to fans on Twitter, <\/span>rumours<\/span> are set to confirm that season 5 has been given the green light, with more information likely to be revealed in the coming months.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Black Clover\u2019s creator Y\u016bki Tabata announced back in August 2023 that due to family health issues, Black Clover\u2019s Manga series will be moving from Weekly Shonen Jump to Jump GIGA. Meaning a new chapter is released every 3 months, instead of every week, allowing him to have more time to create the manga and look after his family and himself.<\/p>\n

Though season 5 of Black Clover doesn\u2019t have an official release date, fans have made a pretty good guess at when we\u2019re likely to see more Asta action.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

According to <\/span>social media rumours<\/span>, the series is likely to be slated at some point in the next two years, with new Black Clover episodes possibly arriving as early as 2025.<\/span><\/p>\n

For the time being these reports remain unverified, but it\u2019s enough to get fans excited about the show\u2019s possible future.<\/span><\/p>\n
