This week\u2019s episode of Doctor Who<\/a>, 73 Yards, left a number of fans scratching their heads at the end, with a number of the show\u2019s mysterious goings-on remaining unexplained.<\/p>\n One of the biggest questions fans will have had throughout the episode is just what the woman stalking Ruby, who we later found out was an older version of Ruby herself<\/a>, was saying to people to get them to run away from her.<\/p>\n Not only did stranger who approached the woman run away from Ruby in fear, often screaming and shouting as they did so, but even Kate Stewart<\/a> and Ruby\u2019s own mother Carla<\/a> turned their backs on her, a look of disgust and fury in their eyes.<\/p>\n Ruby did manage to get Carla to speak to her briefly, one last time, where she said: \u201cI won\u2019t ask you again, Ruby. Please stop calling and go away.\u201d<\/p>\n When Ruby said \u201cBut I\u2019m your daughter\u201d, Carla coldly replied: \u201cWell, except you\u2019re not, are you? Even your real mother didn\u2019t want you.\u201d<\/p>\n So, just what was the woman saying? Well, it seems that showrunner Russell T Davies knows, but he never plans to reveal the truth.<\/p>\n Read more:<\/b><\/p>\n Speaking on the latest episode of Doctor Who: Unleashed<\/a>, Davies said when asked what the woman was saying: \u201cYou will never know. I\u2019m never gonna tell you what she says. It\u2019s kind of up to you to sit there and think, \u2018Well, what could someone say that would make a mother run away from her daughter forever?\u2019<\/p>\n \u201cYou could look at yourself and think, \u2018What would make me do that?\u2019 And once you start to do that, you enter the real horror story.
