Following hot on the heels of Anne Hathaway and Nicholas Galitzine\u2019s film The Idea of You<\/a>, another age-gap romcom is coming our way in the form of A Family Affair.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Starring Zac Efron<\/a> and Nicole Kidman<\/a> as love interests, the movie follows Zara (Joey King), a young assistant to a film star (Efron) who finds herself in a sticky situation when the actor starts to swoon over her mother (Kidman).<\/span><\/p>\n

Netflix<\/a> recently confirmed the film\u2019s release date, alongside several exciting stills of the films, which <\/span>give fans a glimpse of Efron, Kidman and King\u2019s characters in various awkward situations, including what looks like Chris and Zara\u2019s mother on a date (below).<\/span><\/p>\n

In another image, Zara can be seen holding an ice pack to her eye (above).<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThe interplay between Joey and Zac\u2019s characters as an assistant and star is so much fun,\u201d director Richard LaGravenese (The Last Five Years) previously told <\/span>PEOPLE Magazine<\/span><\/a> about the film. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI also love the mother-daughter role reversal, where the daughter becomes the disapproving, judgmental, suspicious parent and the mother is sneaking around her back having a love affair that makes her feel like she\u2019s come back to life.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Efron said of his role, <\/span>\u201cI was still a bit apprehensive, but reuniting with Nicole is always so great, and as talented as she as an actress, she is equally kind, caring and wonderful to spend time with,\u201d before going on to tease that their chemistry is \u201cseamless, natural and fun\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n
