While we\u2019ve got the Dot and Bubble<\/a> episode to anticipate coming to our screens this week, next week\u2019s time slot for Rogue<\/a> has now been confirmed.<\/p>\n The sixth episode of the new season will air on BBC One on Saturday 8th June at 6:45pm<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Rogue has been at the forefront of many fans\u2019 minds since the new season began airing, not least because it\u2019s featured in snippets and trailers and seems to tease a world akin to Bridgerton<\/a>.<\/p>\n At least, that\u2019s what Ruby Sunday<\/a> (Millie Gibson) likens it to in the trailer.<\/p>\n The imagery for the Regency-set episode teases both Ncuti Gatwa\u2019s Doctor and Ruby in some impressive attire, but they\u2019re also joined by a mysterious figure, played by Tony-nominated actor Jonathan Groff<\/a>.<\/p>\n Not much is known about how Groff\u2019s character slots into things, but he is set to play the titular Rogue in the episode.<\/p>\n Groff is best known for his roles in Glee, Mindhunter and The Matrix Resurrections, as well as a litany of Broadway performances including Hamilton and Spring Awakening, and he is currently on stage in the production of Merrily We Roll Along opposite Daniel Radcliffe and Lindsay Mendez.<\/p>\n So, it\u2019s safe to say that Groff is no stranger to major audiences, but as for how he\u2019ll slot into the action set to unfold in Rogue, we\u2019ll just have to wait and see whether he turns out to be a friend or foe of the Doctor\u2019s.<\/p>\n At a press Q&A for the episode, Gibson revealed a little bit more about what to expect from Rogue, saying<\/a>: \u201cWe had Jonathan Groff in it, for God\u2019s sake! It was incredible.<\/p>\n \u201cJust so many things happen in that episode. It\u2019s filled with so much.\u201d<\/p> Gibson added<\/a>: \u201cBut it was cool, because you know what best friends would do, they\u2019d travel to the Regency era and then be like, \u2018I\u2019m gonna go find a scandal!\u2019 So yeah, that was my favourite episode for sure.\u201d<\/p>\n Similarly, at the premiere of the new season of Doctor Who, when quizzed by RadioTimes.com<\/a> about the relationship with Groff\u2019s character, Gatwa implied that it was a \u201cchill vibe\u201d between the pair \u2013 but Gibson\u2019s side glancing hinted at anything but.<\/p>\n Could we be spying some romance on the cards for the Doctor, perhaps?
