House of the Dragon fans will remember the moment when Emily Carey and Milly Alcock exited the fantasy series<\/a> midway through season 1, with Olivia Cooke and Emma D\u2019Arcy taking over as older versions of their characters.<\/p>\n

Since then, many have been championing for the pair to make a return to the series in flashbacks, but in an exclusive Big RT Interview<\/a> with RadioTimes.com<\/a> about her new Netflix adaptation Geek Girl<\/a>, Carey noted that people shouldn\u2019t get too excited if they\u2019re hoping to see the younger Alicent Hightower again.<\/p>\n

She admitted: \u201cI\u2019m not sure if I\u2019m allowed to say, but I will say don\u2019t get your expectations up!\u201d<\/p>\n

Carey previously told The Hollywood Reporter<\/a> that she would be interested in reprising her role with Rhaenyra Targaryen star Alcock in the future, but it didn\u2019t seem like a sure thing.<\/p>\n

She told the publication: \u201cIt\u2019s been spoken about, conversations have happened, but, in all honesty, I know absolutely nothing and I have no idea. Of course, I would love to come back. It depends on how it\u2019s received and where they want to take the show next. I\u2019m just going with the flow!\u201d<\/p>\n
