The historical drama is returning in November. <\/p>
At long last, fans of Outlander<\/a> now have a release date for the much-anticipated second half of season 7<\/a>, with episodes arriving on Friday, 22nd November<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n The news was revealed as part of World Outlander Day on Saturday (1st June) alongside a teaser trailer showing Jamie (Sam Heughan) and Claire (Caitriona Balfe) getting to grips with their new reality.<\/span><\/p>\n When viewers last saw the pair, they had just arrived home in Scotland with their nephew young Ian (John Bell) after fighting in the Second Battle of Saratoga.<\/span><\/p>\n But as teased in the new footage, it isn\u2019t quite the homecoming they anticipate, with Claire going on to explain that she and her husband want to play a role in founding the United States of America.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI don\u2019t feel like the future is my time anymore,\u201d she says in the footage, before continuing: \u201cJamie and I,<\/span>\u00a0we want to be part of creating this new nation.\u201d<\/p>\n She then asks: \u201cWould you not sacrifice everything for love?\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n Read more:<\/strong><\/p>\n Meanwhile, <\/span>Brianna (Sophie Skelton) and Roger (Richard Rankin) are seen frantically searching for their missing son in\u00a0their disparate timelines<\/span><\/p>\n Alongside the teaser trailer and release date, Stars also revealed that three new actors have joined the cast of Outlander season 8, which is currently in production.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Kieran Brew (House of the Dragon) will portray Captain Charles Cunningham, a retired British soldier, Frances Tomelty (Catastrophe) will appear as his mother Elspeth Cunningham, and Carla Woodcock (Such Brave Girls) will play Amaranthus Grey, a new member of the Grey family.<\/span><\/p>\n You can watch the trailer for yourself below.<\/span><\/p>\n\n
