The Star Wars mystery thriller is almost here! <\/p>
It\u2019s almost time for The Acolyte<\/a>, the newest Star Wars<\/a> series to hit Disney Plus<\/a>, with the show receiving positive first reactions.<\/p>\n Amandla Stenberg, who previously featured in The Hunger Games<\/a>, and Squid Game star Lee Jung-jae lead the series, which has been written by Leslye Headland, who fans will know from Russian Doll.<\/p>\n The series is set in the High Republic era of Star Wars, so over 100 years before The Phantom Menace<\/a>, meaning it\u2019s very much uncharted territory.<\/p>\n Chatting about what that was like, Headland recently told RadioTimes.com<\/a>: \u201cI just went nuts, I crammed every single thing I could into the show, which is maybe a good thing or maybe a bad thing.<\/p>\n \u201cI love Star Wars so much that getting the opportunity to work on one, I was like, \u2018I\u2019m just going to put everything I can into this.’\u201d<\/p>\n Meanwhile, it was recently revealed that Stenberg is playing two characters<\/a>, sisters Osha and Mae, who were separated at a young age by a tragic event.<\/p>\n
