Pok\u00e9mon fans are already going wild for the release of Mythic Silver, and so we\u2019ve compiled all the information you need on the mysterious fan-made title.<\/p>\n
Fan-made games are not new. Over the years we\u2019ve seen dedicated players create spin-offs of titles such as Metroid Prime, Half-Life, Castlevania and Sonic the Hedgehog.<\/p>\n
But with a series as beloved as Pok\u00e9mon, you can guarantee any fan attempt at making a game will be met with enthusiasm and intrigue.<\/p>\n
And so, we\u2019ve taken a look at just what Pok\u00e9mon Mythic Silver is, with all the details below.<\/p>\n
Pok\u00e9mon Mythic Silver is a fan-made game that expands upon the 2010 Nintendo DS titles Pok\u00e9mon HeartGold and SoulSilver,<\/strong> which in themselves were remakes of earlier Pok\u00e9mon games, Gold and Silver.<\/p>\n In a Reddit post<\/a>, Mythic Silver\u2019s creator SauceyaTTa outlined some of the gameplay changes and alterations they have made to the game.<\/p>\n There is an overhaul to the Johto region \u2013 where the original games were set \u2013 and a new story (and maps) to dive into that takes place after the events of Pok\u00e9mon Mystery Dungeon Explorers of Sky.<\/p>\n Here, the player must stop the Pok\u00e9mon Darkrai from enacting its villainous plans.<\/p>\n [squirrel-affiliate-playlist squirrel_playlist_id=\u201d653\u2033 \/]<\/p>\n SauceyaTTa, who says they put over 600 hours into the game\u2019s development, explains that there is also a new generation of Pok\u00e9mon to catch, with 150 different ones from generations 1-9 featuring in the game.<\/p>\n However, they add that players can only obtain Mythical, Legendary, Sub-Legendary and Mega creatures.<\/p>\n The game is now in its public beta phase, but is \u201c100 per cent finished minus a couple of signature move animations and minor bugs\u201d, according to the post.<\/p> Pok\u00e9mon Mythic Silver can be downloaded via Pok\u00e9hostel.com<\/a><\/strong> or through the original Reddit post, as mentioned above.<\/p>\n Check out more of our Gaming<\/a> coverage or visit our TV Guide<\/a> and Streaming Guide<\/a> to find out what\u2019s on.
