Warrington Wolves and Wigan Warriors head down south to Wembley this weekend for the 2024 Challenge Cup final.<\/p>\n
Through eight rounds, teams from across England, France, Scotland, Wales and France have battled it out in Rugby League\u2019s knock-out cup competition with the winner of the 123rd edition set to be crowned under the arch on Saturday.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s been 100 years since Wigan, the Challenge Cup\u2019s most successful team, won the first of their 20 titles. They\u2019ll arrive in West London as world champions and level on points with St Helens at the top of the Super League, with a game in hand.<\/p>\n
Warrington, meanwhile, go in search of their 10th triumph and perhaps some revenge \u2013 having been well beaten by the Warriors in their only previous Challenge Cup final back in 1990.<\/p>\n
In an apt and touching tribute to the heroic Rob Burrow, Saturday\u2019s final will get under way at 3:07pm.
