It may take us some time to recover from Jonathan Groff\u2019s<\/a> highly anticipated arrival in Doctor Who<\/a> because Rogue<\/a> certainly did not disappoint.<\/p>\n The Doctor (Ncuti Gatwa) met his match in the smouldering bounty hunter, with the pair stealing the show amid the Bridgerton-inspired Regency episode.<\/p>\n While there\u2019s chemistry between the pair throughout the episode, they finally get their moment and share a kiss \u2013 soon before Rogue sacrifices himself.<\/p>\n However, before he vanishes with the villainous Chulders, he tells the Doctor: \u201cFind me,\u201d leaving the door very much open for a return. As Ruby comforts the Doctor at the end of the episode, we also see him placing Rogue\u2019s ring on his finger to keep a part of him with him.<\/p>\n So, could Rogue be back? It certainly seems so. We\u2019re not expecting a return for him this season, as we\u2019ve only got the finale two-parter left to go, but we definitely wouldn\u2019t rule out a return in seasons to come.<\/p>\n After all, Groff has made it clear that he\u2019s quite literally had a ball working on Doctor Who, recently saying: \u201cI spent most of my time with Ncuti and I am obsessed with him. I think he is such a star. He\u2019s so unpredictable and thrilling to act with because you never see the same thing twice.<\/p> \u201cHe\u2019s so spontaneous, and yet so deeply connected to what he\u2019s doing. He really cares. He\u2019s really in it fully, and he\u2019s got this force and positivity that is completely unique to him. It\u2019s just phenomenal. I just adore him. I think he is one of the most exciting actors working today.\u201d<\/p>\n The Doctor and Rogue\u2019s relationship also marks another step in Doctor Who\u2019s LGBTQ+ representation<\/a>, with Russell T Davies previously telling RadioTimes.com<\/a>: \u201c\u201dIt\u2019s very normal to me, I don\u2019t know any other way to make things. And some people might come along and make a fuss about that. But I\u2019ve moved on by then, so I don\u2019t care.\u201d<\/p>\n Davies added: \u201cBut I think it\u2019s a great thing to see. I think Doctor Who\u2019s a great big open door for everyone to come and see.
