The second season of hit thriller series Yellowjackets<\/a> ended in very dramatic fashion, with the death of a beloved character \u2013 but it looks like things are only just getting started as far as shock value is concerned.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s according to Misty star Christina Ricci, who teased in a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter<\/a> that things are set to get even more <\/em>\u201cshocking\u201d and \u201cbrutal\u201d in the show\u2019s third run.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis season is going to be even more shocking and surprising than the previous seasons,\u201d she said, after revealing that a few episodes of the next season have already been shot.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s definitely going to be brutal. But they also put a lot of comedy into it. So I think it\u2019s just going to be\u2026 extremely Yellowjackets-y.\u201d<\/p>

That said, Ricci doesn\u2019t know too much about how the season will pan out at this stage \u2013 revealing that writers Ashley Lyle and Bart Nickerson \u201cdon\u2019t tell us anything about storylines\u201d before they need to, and that \u201cI don\u2019t even want to ask, because it puts them in a weird position\u201d.<\/p>\n

Of course, it was Ricci\u2019s character Misty who was largely responsible for the death of Natalie (Juliette Lewis) in the final episode of season 2 \u2013 with the latter sacrificing herself to stop Misty from stabbing Lisa with a syringe.<\/p>\n

Misty seemed distraught at her friend\u2019s death, but Ricci reckons that her character will eventually be able to forgive herself.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ve seen that she\u2019s done it before,\u201d she explained. \u201cShe forgave herself\u00a0for what she did to her friends in the wilderness, and I think she is someone who does get past things because she is a survivor.\u201d<\/p>\n
