The new season of Love Island<\/a> has got off to a very dramatic start \u2013 with as many as three bombshells entering the villa in the first five days.<\/p>\n

Following the shock arrival of reality star Joey Essex<\/a> and the dramatic entrance of Uma Jammeh<\/a>, it was revealed on Friday night that Omar Nyame would become the third new islander to join the series.<\/p>\n

His first order of business will be to go on a date with Mimii Ngulube<\/a> after she was left single following the first recoupling of the season.<\/p>\n

But who exactly is Omar and what can we expect him to bring to the villa?<\/p>\n

The third bombshell of the 2024 season, Omar Nyame is a 25-year-old PE teacher from Croydon<\/strong>, who says that he will bring \u201chigh energy, high frequency and vibes\u201d to the villa.<\/p>\n

He says that he is \u201cvery competitive\u201d and used to be an air cadet \u2013 even once marching for the late queen \u2013 while he is reportedly friends with grime icon Stormzy.<\/p>\n

He says that his friends and family would describe him as \u201cfunny and flirty when I\u2019m around the ladies and a very confident person\u201d, but he points out that although people always assume he is a player and a flirt, \u201creally and truly that\u2019s not me\u201d.<\/p>\n

As for who his dream people to share the villa would be, he picks out American comedian Druski, Manchester City and England footballer Jack Grealish and pop superstar Rihanna.<\/p>\n
