It\u2019s been 30 years since Friends first hit our screens, but as a society, we\u2019re still not done with it. Much like the relationship of Ross and Rachel, the hype for this classic sitcom never seems to end.<\/p>\n
Now, it\u2019s back in our lives once again as the Friends Experience is coming to London this summer.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
Hitting London\u2019s ExCel this August, The Friends Experience is moving over after a successful run in the Birmingham NEC last summer, and bringing with it the sights, sounds and sets of the beloved sitcom.<\/p>\n
The Exhibition \u2013 titled The Friends Experience: The One in London \u2013 will land in time for the show\u2019s 30th anniversary, but don\u2019t worry about rushing off to see it, as the plan is to make the ExCel its permanent home.<\/p>\n
Stacy Moscatelli, Chief Executive Officer of Original X Productions, said: \u201cThe Friends Experience: The One in London marks a significant milestone as our second global flagship, continuing our expansion of this beloved attraction.<\/p>\n
\u201cAs we celebrate the 5th anniversary of this much-loved experience and the 30th anniversary of the series, we\u2019re thrilled to offer Londoners and visitors the chance to step inside the world of Friends\u00a0<\/em>and relive their favourite moments.\u201d<\/p>\n Visitors to the experience will be able to see dozens of sets and props from the show, from the sofas of Central Perk to the apartments that no real New Yorker could ever afford. There will be plenty of photo opportunities along the way too, including Joey and Chandler\u2019s recliners, and exclusive London-themed content from the episodes: The One with Ross\u2019 Wedding Parts 1 & 2.<\/p>\n Tickets for The Friends Experience will be on sale soon and we at\u00a0RadioTimes.com<\/a>\u00a0are getting really excited about this one, so let\u2019s PIVOT onto some details.<\/p>\n Don\u2019t forget to check out the Cabaret London cast<\/a>, plus how to get Calamity Jane tickets<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n The Friends Experience is an interactive exhibition entirely devoted to the adventures of Monica, Ross, Rachel, Phoebe, Joey and Chandler.<\/p>\n Featuring recreations of sets including Central Perk, the fountain from the opening titles and the apartment everyone but Ross managed to live in, fans can explore the show\u2019s history from start to finish.<\/p>\n There will also be a chance to recreate famous poses and scenes with some of the sitcom\u2019s most iconic props, such as the sofa and Monica\u2019s purple door. Plus, you can stop for a coffee and go shopping for some of the exhibit\u2019s merchandise.<\/p>\n The Friends Experience will open at London\u2019s ExCel in August 2024<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Found on the city\u2019s historic Royal Victoria Dock, the centre is home to some of the UK\u2019s biggest exhibitions and events, including the current Disney100 exhibit<\/a>.<\/p>\n To get there, all you need to do is get the Elizabeth Line or the DLR to Custom House Station. You can also drive, but beware that parking costs \u00a325 for up to 24 hours.<\/p>\n Adult tickets for the experience start at \u00a320 and \u00a310 for 11-16 year olds.
