After a whirlwind season for Wrexham AFC, the sports documentary has come to an end in its third season.<\/p>\n

Over the course of season 3, Wrexham found themselves bringing a \u201cnew level of intensity\u201d as they were \u201cplagued with injury and setbacks\u201d.<\/p>\n

This season also focused on Wrexham\u2019s women\u2019s team, following their promotion to the Welsh Adran Premier League.<\/p>\n

The third season, which came to an end today, has taken viewers inside the club\u2019s recent promotion to the EFL\u2019s League One \u2013 but what is next for the team?<\/p>\n

Will there be a Welcome to Wrexham season 4?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Yes!\u00a0<\/strong>Disney and US broadcaster FX confirmed last month<\/a> that a fourth season will be happening, chronicling the next stage of Wrexham\u2019s journey in the football league.<\/p>\n

Nick Grad, President of FX Entertainment, said: \u201cWrexham AFC has exceeded all expectations on the pitch and with fans, scoring back-to-back promotions under the leadership of Rob and Ryan and rising to compete in League One next season.<\/p>\n

\u201cWelcome to Wrexham is scoring big too, winning five Emmy Awards and a fourth season that will continue to document the team\u2019s remarkable journey and its impact on the Wrexham community and growing legion of fans worldwide.\u201d<\/p>\n

There isn\u2019t currently a release date for Welcome to Wrexham season 4 yet, but we\u2019ll be sure to update this page once we know more!<\/p>\n

How many episodes will be in Welcome to Wrexham season 4?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

It hasn\u2019t been confirmed exactly how many episodes season 4 will consist of, however if it follows suit as previous seasons, there will be eight episodes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Is there a Welcome to Wrexham season 4 trailer?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Not yet.\u00a0<\/strong>Disney Plus are yet to release a trailer for season 4, however as the cameras are likely still rolling for Wrexham\u2019s journey, there might be a while yet.<\/p>\n

Why did Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney buy Wrexham FC?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney took the sporting world by storm when they announced their decision to buy Wrexham FC, a football club that were once 15th in the National League.<\/p>\n

Speaking about why they chose to buy the club, Ryan Reynolds told The Athletic<\/a>: \u201cRob had done a sequence on It\u2019s Always Sunny in Philadelphia that I just thought, pound for pound, was one of the most beautiful three minutes I\u2019d ever seen, on this show that he\u2019d obviously created and worked on for so many years.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo I just let him know. We kind of became friends, like text friends. We never actually met or anything like that. So then one day Rob sends me an email that outlines his plan to buy a lower-league club and grow it into something more resembling a global force.\u201d<\/p>\n

He added that he thought the plan was \u201cso unexpected and so interesting\u201d that he decided to go ahead.<\/p>

In a recent interview with USA Today, Reynolds said: \u201cWe are pushing as hard as humanly possible for this club to get as far as possible in this sport, in the least amount of time.\u201d<\/p>\n

McElhenney added: \u201cWe will do whatever we have to within the confines of the rules to make that happen. That\u2019s literally our job.\u201d<\/p>\n
