Unfortunately for the Scots, that may well be <strong>Spain, Croatia\u00a0<\/strong>or <strong>Italy<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Should Scotland qualify as one of the best third-placed teams, they would face either the winner of Group B in Cologne on Sunday 30th June, E (Ukraine, Slovakia, Belgium, Romania) on Tuesday 2nd of July or F (Portugal, Czech Republic, Georgia, Turkey) in Frankfurt on Monday 1st July, which is likely to be <strong>Spain<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Belgium<\/strong>\u00a0or\u00a0<strong>Portugal<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Our predicted opponent: Italy<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Who could Scotland play in the quarter-finals?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Reaching the quarter-finals would be viewed as a triumph in itself for Scotland, but Clarke and co won\u2019t want to stop there.<\/p>\n<p>If they make it to the last eight after winning Group A, then they\u2019ll likely find\u00a0<strong>Spain<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Croatia<\/strong>\u00a0or\u00a0<strong>Italy\u00a0<\/strong>waiting for them in Stuttgart on Friday 5th July.<\/p>\n<p>Should they finish second in the group and win their round of 16 game, it\u2019s likely to be <strong>England<\/strong> standing in the way of a place in the semi-finals in Dusseldorf on Saturday 6th July.<\/p>\n<p>Scotland\u2019s path beyond the round of 16 should they qualify as one of the best third-placed sides can\u2019t be predicted until the group stages are finished, as it\u2019s based on which other third-placed teams qualify.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Our predicted opponent: England<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Who could Scotland play in the semi-finals?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Were Scotland to win their group and go on to reach the final four of Euro 2024, they\u2019re likely to come up against\u00a0<strong>Portugal\u00a0<\/strong>or the\u00a0<strong>Netherlands <\/strong>in Munich on Tuesday 9th July.<\/p>\n<p>If Clarke\u2019s side reach the semi-finals after finishing as the Group A runners-up, then it would be <strong>France\u00a0<\/strong>or\u00a0<strong>Belgium\u00a0<\/strong>as their expected opposition in Dortmund on Wednesday 10th July.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Our predicted opponent: France<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Who could Scotland play in the final?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The Euro 2024 Final will take place at the Olympiastadion in Berlin on Sunday 14th July.
