Kiefer Sutherland has led tributes to his father, acting legend Donald Sutherland, who has died at the age of 88.<\/span><\/p>\n The 24 actor shared<\/a> a childhood photo of himself with his dad on Thursday evening (20th June), writing alongside: \u201c<\/span>With a heavy heart, I tell you that my father, Donald Sutherland, has passed away.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n Sutherland went on to describe his dad as \u201cone of the most important actors in the history of film\u201d, writing that he was \u201cnever daunted by a role, good, bad or ugly\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cHe loved what he did and did what he loved, and one can never ask for more than that,\u201d Kiefer added in the post on Twitter, which was recently rebranded as X. \u201cA life well lived.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n With a heavy heart, I tell you that my father, Donald Sutherland, has passed away.
