If you\u2019re obsessed with FromSoftware\u2019s Elden Ring<\/a> (like we are), then this is a day of celebration: Shadow of the Erdtree<\/a>, its hotly anticipated DLC, drops today.<\/p>\n Reviews are glowing<\/a>, and we\u2019ve got a feeling this expansion will go down in history like Bloodborne<\/a>\u2018s Old Hunters.<\/p>\n Like previous FromSoftware DLCs, though, you can\u2019t access Shadow of the Erdtree right off from the main menu.<\/p>\n Your hardware might be top of the line<\/a> and prepared, but you\u2019ll need to prove that you are too. A couple of difficult bosses must be beaten first.<\/p>\n So, how do we access the Elden Ring DLC? Fear not, our Shadow of the Erdtree start guide is just a scroll away.<\/p>\n If you\u2019re new to Elden Ring, and you\u2019re wondering if you can jump straight into Shadow of the Erdtree, then we have bad news: You\u2019ll need to beat two of the hardest bosses in the game<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Well, it\u2019s good news, really, because you get to experience the wonder, awe, and challenge of the original Elden Ring for the first time.<\/p>\n [squirrel-affiliate-playlist squirrel_playlist_id=\u201d653\u2033 \/]<\/p>\n If you\u2019re already a seasoned Tarnished, and know the Lands Between like the back of your hand, then you might have already ticked the boxes to start start Shadow of Erdtree.<\/p>\n So, what do we need to do? In a nutshell, you\u2019ll need to have beaten Radahn and Mohg<\/strong> before you can enter Land of Shadow (where the DLC is set).<\/p>\n Once these two bosses have been defeated, head over to Miquella\u2019s Cocoon (which is conveniently where the Mohg battle took place) and interact with it.
