Elden Ring\u2019s DLC, Shadow of the Erdtree<\/a>, brings with it not only new bosses to defeat<\/a> and a new map to explore, but also new classes of weapons<\/a> to find and equip. The Light Greatsword is one such new weapon type.<\/p>\n

One of many new weapon types in Shadow of the Erdtree, the Light Greatsword is one of the best in the DLC.<\/p>\n

With a Light Greatsword equipped, you should be able to deal good levels of damage to your enemies while swinging at a faster pace than the traditional Greatsword in the base game. Perfect for when you want to attack more quickly.<\/p>\n

While damage should still be good with a Light Greatsword, this new weapon class is not as strong as the standard Greatsword \u2013 you trade power away for speed.<\/p>\n
