Jones is fronting her first ever documentary, a two-part series called Investigating Witch Trials. <\/p>

Gentleman Jack and Vigil<\/a> star Suranne Jones is fronting her first ever documentary, going on an epic journey to investigate the most infamous witch trials in history.<\/p>\n

Suranne Jones: Investigating Witch Trials will air over two Sundays on Channel 4, starting on Sunday 23rd June, and RadioTimes.com<\/a> has got an exclusive first-look clip from the opening episode.<\/p>\n

In the clip, Jones explains that there is a now a generation of women reclaiming the label of \u201cwitch\u201d, before meeting musician Natasha Khan, aka Bat for Lashes.<\/p>\n

Jones then leaves the frame in order to practice howling, with Khan sending her a howl to respond to. After they\u2019re done, Khan says that Jones \u201creally needed to do that\u201d, and she responds that \u201cit feels so good\u201d and is \u201cbetter than a headache tablet\u201d.<\/p>\n
