Euro 2024 is progressing at pace, with the final week of group stage matches set to crop several teams out of the picture throughout the week.<\/p>\n
The 24-team format means eight teams will be sent packing in the coming days, with Scotland the first squad to depart Germany.<\/p>\n
The Tartan Army took hundreds of thousands of fans to the continent in support of their team, but Steve Clarke\u2019s men were eliminated after failing to defeat Hungary in their third match.<\/p>\n
Scotland won\u2019t be lonely in the airport for long as two more teams are set to join them each day, with two third-place sides set to discover their fate by the end of the round.<\/p>\n
From this weekend onwards, matches will be knockout showdowns across the board, meaning teams are one poor performance away from going home.<\/p>\n
