The viewing figures for the penultimate season 14 episode are in. <\/p>

Last weekend may have seen the last episode of Doctor Who season 14<\/a> air, but the viewing figures continue to come in as the total number of viewers are counted.<\/p>\n

While it aired on Saturday 15th June, the consolidated ratings for The Legend of Ruby Sunday<\/a> are now in and follow suit with similar numbers achieved by its previous episodes.<\/p>\n

According to Barb<\/a>, The Legend of Ruby Sunday<\/a> was watched by a total of 3.495 million people.<\/p>\n

That figure follows the likes of Regency-era episode Rogue<\/a>, which was watched by a total of 3.521 million people, as well as 3.38 million for Dot and Bubble<\/a>, 4.058 million for\u00a073 Yards<\/a>\u00a0and 3.57 million for\u00a0Boom<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The total viewing figure for The Legend of Ruby Sunday<\/a> is the total consolidated figure for the first seven days after the episode\u2019s release, which includes pre-broadcast viewing and viewing on tablets, PCs and smartphones.<\/p>\n

Nevertheless, the episode was in the top 50 most-watched programmes for the week commencing 10th June through to the 16th.<\/p>\n

The penultimate episode of the season saw some major questions arise as the Doctor (Ncuti Gatwa) and UNIT investigate Ruby Sunday\u2019s (Millie Gibson) past.<\/p>\n

As per the episode synopsis: \u201cBut as the Time Window reveals horrifying secrets from Christmas Eve, the mysterious Triad Technology unleash the greatest evil of all.\u201d<\/p>\n

Of course, the season has now drawn to a close with the finale, Empire of Death, bringing everything to quite the dramatic head.<\/p>\n
