In a new interview with The Hollywood Reporter<\/a>, Friends<\/a> star Lisa Kudrow has revealed that a fan-favourite joke from one the show\u2019s best loved episodes was thought up by her co-star Matthew Perry.<\/p>\n

According to Kudrow, the late Chandler Bing star came up with a gag in The One Where Everybody Finds Out, which sees Joey come up with a way that Phoebe can outsmart Chandler as she tries to \u2018seduce\u2019 him.<\/p>\n

Kudrow said: \u201cIt\u2019s like, \u2018We\u2019ve got to come up with something to up the stakes.\u2019 And I think it was him that went, \u2018What if he just [imitates unbuttoning a shirt with one hand] \u2026 and the shirt flies open?\u2019<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd they\u2019re like, \u2018Are you OK wearing a bra?\u2019 And I went, \u2018A bra? There\u2019s more covering than a bathing suit! It\u2019s fine.’\u201d<\/p>\n

So we were always laughing so hard, tears were flying out of our faces.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>This isn\u2019t the first time one of the show\u2019s actors has revealed that Perry was behind some crucial decision-making on the show.<\/p>\n<p>Lisa Cash, who had a small role in the show\u2019s fifth season as a flight attendant, previously revealed that she was initially brought in as a character <a href=\"https:\/\/www.radiotimes.com\/tv\/comedy\/friends-matthew-perry-chandler-cheating-monica-newsupdate\/\">Chandler would have an affair with<\/a>, something which would have serious ramifications for his relationship with Monica.<\/p> <p>She said: \u201cWe had rehearsed it and everything. The day before we were shooting in front of a live audience, I was told that Perry went to the writers and said the audience would never forgive [Chandler] for cheating on Monica.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe was probably right!
