Two-time world champion Anthony Joshua will go up against 21-time fight winner Daniel Dubois for the IBF world heavyweight title. If Joshua defeats Dubois \u2014 who has been upgraded from IBF interim title holder to the IBF champion \u2014 he will regain one of the world titles he previously held.<\/p>\n

The fight has come to fruition as Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk announced on Tuesday that he had vacated the IBF belt, which means the floor is open to Joshua and Dubois to claim it.<\/p>\n

You might remember that Usyk initially requested to keep the IBF belt so the he undisputed title could remain on the line when he goes up against Tyson Fury in December this year, but the Ukrainian changed his mind earlier this week.<\/p>\n

With Joshua flying back up the heavyweight ranks and knocking out Francis Ngannou in March, and Dubois halting Filip Hrgovic and holding a version of the WBA title, the fight at Wembley is set to be a close one.<\/p>\n

Speaking at a press conference this week, Dubois said: \u201cI\u2019m just aiming to be the best. To fight the best and beat the best. AJ has been the king for a long time, and we all know it, so on the night I need to become a king-slayer. That\u2019s my goal and that\u2019s the mission at hand. I\u2019m just ready to go\u201d.<\/p>\n
