The third season of The Bear<\/a> ended on an ominous note<\/a>, as Sydney had a panic attack knowing she would soon have to tell Carmy about her choice to leave the restaurant, and Carmy himself read a mixed first review.<\/p>\n The restaurant review, which Carmy and the team had been waiting on for most of the season, held an outsized weight here, because Cicero had told Carmy that he would have to pull funding if they got even one less-than-glowing write-up.<\/p>\n Thankfully for fans, a title card at the end of the episode said that the story will be continued \u2013 and now, Tina star Liza Col\u00f3n-Zayas<\/a>, has weighed in on what the future might hold for the characters.<\/p>\n Speaking exclusively with RadioTimes.com<\/a>, Col\u00f3n-Zayas said: \u201cThe future is very fragile. You know, we\u2019re white knuckling it, but that\u2019s also very real, right? Especially now, the state of everything, but especially the restaurant industry. It\u2019s not a walk in the park. I\u2019m nervous too.\u201d<\/p>\n Asked how long she could see the show<\/a> running for, Col\u00f3n-Zayas added: \u201cI would love to see the show potentially continue for at least another five years!<\/p>\n \u201cBut only if that\u2019s\u2026 there\u2019s that line that Richie had in the beginning, like, \u2018It is a delicate ecosystem\u2019. And I think that as long as that is inspired and nurtured then we\u2019ll have the magic that we have. So that\u2019s more important. Five more seasons, please!\u201d<\/p>\n Read more:<\/b><\/p>\n Col\u00f3n-Zayas\u2019s Tina played a key role in season 3<\/a>, with the sixth episode, Napkins, telling the story of how she ended up meeting Mikey and working at The Original Beef of Chicagoland. It also showed us more of Tina\u2019s home life than ever before, introducing us to her husband and son, with her husband being played by Col\u00f3n-Zayas\u2019s real-life husband David Zayas.<\/p>\n Asked how she first reacted when reading the script for that episode, Col\u00f3n-Zayas said: \u201cI cried. I didn\u2019t expect to get my own episode. They just nailed us, me and my husband\u2019s life. That\u2019s my real husband in real life and they just got our energy. It was incredible to feel seen, and I think necessary for viewers to understand more fully Tina\u2019s armour, what she\u2019s fighting for.\u201d<\/p> Col\u00f3n-Zayas also revealed that it \u201cwasn\u2019t always the case\u201d that her husband would star in the show, and explained how that casting came about.<\/p>\n She said: \u201cHe came to set one day and Christopher Storer\u2019s a big fan of his, and he was like, \u2018Do you think you\u2019d want to be on the show?\u2019. I was like, \u2018Yeah, I think he\u2019s a big fan of the show!\u2019.
