Hellboy is getting the movie treatment again… <\/p>
One of the most beloved comic book characters, Hellboy, is getting another chance on the big screen in Hellboy: The Crooked Man \u2013 and now we have the first trailer for the film.<\/span><\/p>\n The new footage gives fans a glimpse of Jack Kesy in action as the titular character<\/span> faces off against a myriad of terrifying monsters and demons.<\/span><\/p>\n Hellboy has seen two previous on-screen adaptations \u2013 <\/span>Guillermo del Toro\u2019s 2004 version, which starred Ron Pearlman in the titular role, and <\/span>Neil Marshall\u2019s<\/span>\u00a02019 reboot of the franchise starring David Harbour.<\/span><\/p>\n While <\/span>del Toro\u2019s Hellboy and its 2008 sequel, Hellboy 2: The Golden Army, performed fairly well at the global office, Marshall\u2019s adaptation was <\/span>panned by critics and audiences alike and was also a flop at the box office, failing to amass even $100 million.<\/span><\/p>\n So, will the new film live up to the hype? <\/span>Read on for everything you need to know about when it could land and who else stars.<\/span><\/p>\n A UK release date for the movie is yet to be announced, but watch this space!<\/strong><\/p>\n Filming has officially wrapped on the project and it is expected to be released some time in 2024.<\/p>\n According to the franchise\u2019s creator, Mike Mignola, Hellboy: The Crooked Man is<\/span>\u00a0the most faithful adaptation yet.<\/p>\n \u201cI wasn\u2019t on set for this one but they have been nice enough to send me dailies and I have to say I have loved what I\u2019ve been seeing.
