The sewing competition is the latest programme affected by a schedule switch-up. <\/p>

Channels continue to make changes to their schedules to accommodate for sports coverage and The Great British Sewing Bee<\/a> is the latest casualty.<\/p>\n

The sewing competition was set for its usual 9pm slot, but the broadcaster has confirmed that it will now be replaced by a repeat episode of The Repair Shop<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Fans of the Sewing Bee need not worry, however, as this week\u2019s episode will now air tomorrow (Wednesday 3rd July) at 9pm instead, taking The Repair Shop\u2019s original slot.<\/p>\n

The BBC schedules are currently chock-a-block with Wimbledon<\/a> tennis coverage, as well as Euro 2024<\/a>, although tomorrow and Thursday do not have any football matches.<\/p>\n

Tonight\u2019s final round-of-16 game at the Euros \u2013 Turkey v Austria \u2013 is airing on ITV1, while Today at Wimbledon airs on BBC Two at 9pm.<\/p>\n

Earlier today, it was announced that Andy Murray has withdrawn<\/a> from the Wimbledon\u2019s singles draw, though he\u2019s still set to compete in the doubles alongside brother Jamie in what will be his final tournament.<\/p>\n

The Scottish player was forced to pull out due to a back injury, which saw him undergo a recent surgery to remove a spinal cyst. This Championships will be his last, his representatives confirmed.<\/p>\n

Tennis isn\u2019t the only sport playing havoc with TV schedules. The Euros<\/a> have resulted in a major switch-up for EastEnders\u2019 regular schedule<\/a>, with some days missing episodes and others featuring double bills.<\/p>\n

As both sports tournaments continue into the summer, and with the Olympics set to begin later in the month, further schedule changes are expected to affect regular programming in the coming weeks.<\/p>

The Great British Sewing Bee airs on Wednesday 3rd July on BBC One and BBC iPlayer at 9pm.<\/strong><\/p>\n
