Filming for the highly anticipated film adaptation of Osman’s crime novel is underway. <\/p>

Filming for Netflix\u2019s adaptation of Richard Osman<\/a>\u2018s bestselling novel, Thursday Murder Club, is officially underway.<\/p>\n

Osman shared a picture of a director\u2019s chair from set on X (formerly known as Twitter) alongside the caption: \u201cOh it\u2019s HAPPENING.\u201d<\/p>\n

The chair appears to belong to Elizabeth, one of four Cooper Chase Retirement Village residents turned amateur detectives.<\/p>\n

An ex-spy and the Thursday Murder club\u2019s founder, Elizabeth is set to be played by Dame Helen Mirren in the highly anticipated film.<\/p>\n

Mirren isn\u2019t the only big name attached to the project. In fact, Osman himself referred to the stellar cast<\/a> as \u201cthe greatest British cast assembled since the [Harry Potter] movies\u201d in an episode of his The Rest Is Entertainment podcast.<\/p>\n
