Wales begin their summer tour against Australia on Saturday in Sydney and Warren Gatland has made some big calls as his Welsh side face the underdog role this weekend.<\/p>\n
At the World Cup nine months ago, Wales demolished the Wallabies 40-6 in France and sent them home with a humiliating end. Now, after Wales lost seven straight internationals, Joe Schmidt\u2019s Wallabies are favourites.<\/p>\n
Cardiff playmaker Ben Thomas has been given the Wales fly-half role and will make his first start, and wing Josh Hathaway will make his debut in Sydney. Elsewhere, Sydney-born Bath tighthead Archie Griffin is handed his first international start.<\/p>\n
