Anthony Mackie is taking on a new adventure, and this time he\u2019s out of the Captain America<\/a> suit and is embarking on a different kind of mission than his character may be used to.<\/p>\n In a new documentary series, Shark Beach with Anthony Mackie, the actor explores \u201cthe growing rumours that shark encounters may be on the rise in the Gulf of Mexico\u201d.<\/p>\n After teaming up with a group of shark experts, Mackie explores \u201cthe latest science that may help both human sharks co-exist in the great state of Louisiana\u201d, and RadioTimes.com<\/a> has an exclusive first look!<\/p>\n In this teaser, the actor performs the delicate task of swabbing a shark\u2019s anus to test her faeces for dish DNA.<\/p>\n According to the experts, the sample will show if the shark has been eating the same prey that the fishermen are looking for.<\/p>\n In the clip, Mackie narrates: \u201cLike many sharks, flipped on her back she enters a trance-like state and will be less stressed out, which is lucky, because now I have a pretty\u2026 let\u2019s say delicate job to do.\u201d<\/p>\n Mackie can then be seen swabbing the shark, and jokes: \u201cWhen I woke up this morning, I didn\u2019t think I would be giving a shark an anal swab.\u201d<\/p>\n You can watch the full clip below.<\/p>\n
