Emmerdale recently announced a single-strand episode will air in the coming days, focused on its domestic abuse storyline<\/a>, in which viewers will see Tom putting Belle and their dog Piper through physical and emotional torture.<\/p>\n The ITV soap first announced this storyline in February and viewers have seen Tom spying on Belle through a tracker, hitting and burning her and controlling her money, and it appears Tom will stop at nothing to have full control over his wife.<\/p>\n Speaking exclusively at the\u00a0RadioTimes.com<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0Soap Awards 2024<\/strong>\u00a0sponsored by\u00a0Inspired Villages<\/a>, James Chase admitted that there is no barrier to stop Tom so long as he doesn\u2019t get caught out.<\/p>\n \u201cI think with Tom, unless there\u2019s like an absolutely brick wall that\u2019s laid before him, I think there\u2019s no barrier that\u2019s going to stop him from doing what he\u2019s doing,\u201d Chase explained.<\/p>\n \u201cThe bar is going to probably keep rising as to what he will do. I think he will do relatively anything to get control over her.\u201d<\/p>\n Read more:<\/strong><\/p>\n With months of Tom\u2019s abuse mounting on Belle, many viewers have questioned when the Dingle family will find out the truth about what has been going down behind closed doors \u2013 and it may be sooner than many will think.<\/p>\n Chase told RadioTimes.com<\/strong> that in the coming weeks, there will be a moment \u201cwhere potential Dingles notice something<\/a>\u201d and another where they \u201ccome down on him like thunder\u201d.<\/p>\n \u201cI think that\u2019s why Tom [has] survived up until now,\u201d he added. \u201cHe\u2019s so good at hiding it and he\u2019s so good at manipulating that he can keep the truth at bay.\u201d<\/p> The\u00a0RadioTimes.com<\/span>\u00a0Soap Awards 2024, sponsored by\u00a0Inspired Villages<\/a>, took place on 13th July.
