It’s the young actor’s first award! <\/p>
It was a big weekend for young actor Charlie Wrenshall, who picked up the award for Best Young Performer<\/a> at the RadioTimes.com<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0Soap Awards 2024<\/strong>\u00a0sponsored by\u00a0Inspired Villages<\/a>.<\/p>\n The actor, who plays Liam Connor<\/a> on Coronation Street<\/a>, pipped stars from EastEnders<\/a>, Hollyoaks<\/a> and Emmerdale<\/a> to the win in what is Wrenshall\u2019s first ever award.<\/p>\n Reacting to his win, Wrenshall said: \u201cIt feels surreal, it\u2019s my first award and I\u2019m so grateful to win it, honestly. Being nominated is enough but actually winning it, it doesn\u2019t feel real. That\u2019s all I\u2019m going to say, it doesn\u2019t feel real.\u201d<\/p>\n On his storyline, he added: \u201cI feel like as long as it\u2019s helped one person, it\u2019s a success, and everyone made such a good team. The crew, the cast, everyone and it came together so perfectly so I\u2019m happy it actually worked like that.\u201d<\/p>\n Radio Times Soap Awards winners!
