The Shelbys are headed to the big screen, after Peaky Blinders<\/a> creator Steven Knight confirmed that the feature film will go into production in 2023.<\/p>\n

The upcoming sixth season of the BBC drama, starring Cillian Murphy as Tommy Shelby, is also set to be Peaky Blinders\u2019 last<\/a>, followed by the\u00a0long-rumoured Peaky Blinders feature film<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Speaking at the\u00a0BFI London Film Festival, Knight told Variety<\/a> that the film will begin filming in 2023.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am going to write the feature which will be set in and shot in Birmingham,\u201d Knight said. \u201cAnd that will probably be the sort of the end of the road for \u2018Peaky Blinders\u2019 as we know it.\u201d<\/p>\n

He also confirmed that there could be spin-offs \u201crelated\u201d to the Peaky Blinders world, which is a sentiment he\u2019s expressed previously.<\/p>\n
