Pok\u00e9mon Go events have been pretty ambitious of late, with the Global Fest<\/a> and eighth anniversary<\/a> to name but two.<\/p>\n

But the Pok\u00e9mon Go Ultra Unlock event might just be one of the biggest.<\/p>\n

As is expected by now, this will introduce rare Pok\u00e9mon and give you a chance to add them to your collection.<\/p>\n

With plenty of event bonuses to boot, and Field Research for those going above and beyond, it\u2019s going to be quite the bonanza.<\/p>\n

Pok\u00e9mon Go Ultra Unlock event schedule explained<\/strong><\/h2>\n
As has happened with previous Pok\u00e9mon Go events, this will take place across multiple days, with different things happening at different times. So don\u2019t expect it all to be the same throughout the whole period!<\/p>\n
Let\u2019s take a look at the schedule:<\/p>\n
Ultra Unlock: Better Together<\/strong><\/h3>\n
The Better Together section of Ultra Unlock will take place from Wednesday 17th July at 10am to Monday 22nd July 2024 at 8pm local time<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
In this event (which begins today!) you\u2019ll be able to catch Tandemaus in Party Play encounters, and 50 Tandemaus Candy to evolve it into Maushold.<\/p>\n
Event bonuses include the following:<\/p>\n

4\u00d7 Catch XP<\/strong><\/li>\n
2\u00d7 Catch Candy<\/strong><\/li>\n
Friendship levels increase faster when opening Gifts, trading Pok\u00e9mon, and battling together<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Event-themed Research tasks will of course be available, adding even more Pok\u00e9mon encounters (you\u2019ll already be encountering more in the wild than usual in the event).<\/p>\n
Tandemaus hoodies and slippers will be available for your avatar, too!<\/p>\n
Ultra Unlock: Strength of Steel<\/strong><\/h3>\n
The Strength of Steel section begins on Thursday 25th July, and ends on Tuesday 30th July 2024 at 8pm local time<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
The event bonuses for this section are the following:<\/p>\n

More Candy XL for catching Pok\u00e9mon for Trainers over level 31<\/strong><\/li>\n
More likely for Trainers over level 31 to receive Candy XL catching Pok\u00e9mon with Nice Throws or better<\/strong><\/li>\n

3\u00d7 Stardust for catching Pok\u00e9mon<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Also expect Field Research task rewards, Timed Research, Collection Challenges and more!<\/p>\n
Mega Lucario Raid Day<\/strong><\/h3>\n
Within these events is a specific day in which Mega Lucario will be available in Raids.<\/p>\n
This will be on Saturday 27th July 2024 from 11am to 5pm local time<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s the first time Mega Lucario will appear in Mega Raids, and there\u2019s a possibility you\u2019ll get a Shiny!<\/p>\n
