“The fans just keep pushing those two back together, and I’m not complaining!” <\/p>
Jessica Fox has spoken about her Hollyoaks<\/a> character Nancy Osborne\u2019s longstanding relationship with husband Darren Osborne (Ashley Taylor Dawson), which has been a fan-favourite soap partnership for years.<\/p>\n Nancy and Darren have clocked up three marriages, several affairs and two children together, as well as raising Nancy\u2019s nephew Charlie Dean (Charlie Behan).<\/p>\n But despite multiple splits that have always felt very final at the time, the couple are always brought back together in the end.<\/p>\n Speaking exclusively to RadioTimes.com<\/a>, Fox was asked if she\u2019s glad that Hollyoaks has never given up on Darren and Nancy.<\/p>\n \u201cI think there\u2019s been a couple of attempts, to be honest, over the years,\u201d she laughed. \u201cBut the fans just keep pushing those two back together, and I\u2019m not complaining!\u201d<\/p>\n Indeed, Nancy and Darren are affectionately dubbed \u2018Dancy\u2019 by viewers. Fox went on to reveal that she adores working with co-star Taylor Dawson, and hopes that their alter egos will remain a solid unit for years to come.<\/p> \u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cMe and Ash have a lovely time working together, and hopefully Darren and Nancy will be with us for a long time yet,\u201d she enthused.<\/p>\n With Noah Holdsworth, who has played Fox\u2019s on-screen son Oscar since 2015, having been nominated for Best Young Performer<\/a>, the actress praised the young star\u2019s rise into bigger storylines, and revealed her pride for Noah\u2019s achievements.<\/p>\n \u201cWe\u2019ve had Noah with us since he was teeny, teeny-tiny, and now he\u2019s getting storylines of his own, and he\u2019s holding his own, and he\u2019s doing it beautifully. All his family are so supportive of him, and I couldn\u2019t be prouder.\u201d<\/p>\n On attending the very first RadioTimes.com<\/b><\/span>\u00a0Soap Awards 2024<\/strong>\u00a0sponsored by\u00a0Inspired Villages<\/a>, Fox told us: \u201cIt\u2019s lovely to be at an event!<\/p>\n \u201cThis is my first time getting dressed up since I came back from maternity leave, so it\u2019s extra special.
