Each season of The Boys<\/a> has left things in a new state of play following its finale, but none has perhaps been as consequential as season 4\u2019s ending, which leads directly into the final season<\/a>.<\/p>\n The finale saw Butcher finally take V and become a supe himself for good, while Homelander consolidated his power and essentially took hold of the presidency.<\/p>\n He immediately used this new power to round up those who would disagree with him or fight him, including The Boys \u2013 only Starlight currently remains free.<\/p>\n Black Noir star Nathan Mitchell spoke with RadioTimes.com<\/a> about the season\u2019s shocking conclusion, and gave his own reaction to what fans have just witnessed.<\/p>\n He said: \u201cI think it\u2019s a really, really great ending. I\u2019ve got to be honest, I have not seen the<\/span> ending of the<\/span> show yet, because I wanted to watch it with the<\/span> fans, I wanted to watch it how everyone else experiences it for once.<\/p>\n \u201cBut from what I remember with filming it, it\u2019s so impactful. The<\/span> Flatiron is no more know and it\u2019s really a scramble. All The<\/span> Boys<\/span> are separated. Homelander and The<\/span> Seven and Vought are more powerful than the<\/span>y\u2019ve ever been, and we are really in the<\/span> endgame of the<\/span> show.<\/p>\n \u201cYou know, from what I remember filming and being around on set, we really brought it to a new place. And I think it\u2019s a very visceral experience you have when you watch it.\u201d<\/p> Mitchell also gave his thoughts on the show coming to an end<\/a> with its fifth season, saying: \u201cYou always want to go out on as high of a note as possible.
